Wrathlander, Brawling Birds, Nightingale & Aminata win AEW Women's Blood & Guts

The babyface team won this year's AEW women's Blood and Guts match. Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron, Alex Windsor, Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale and Queen Aminata defeated the opposing side in Jacksonville, Florida.

The winning team overcame Megan Bayne, Lena Kross, Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue and Persephone. The match lasted 45 minutes.

Statlander and Cameron scored the finish by applying a double-team submission on Hart. Cameron locked in a single-leg crab while Statlander wrapped barbed wire around Hart's mouth, leading to a verbal submission.

A key storyline involved whether Statlander and Cameron could coexist with the Brawling Birds. The teams are set to face each other for the women's tag titles at Full Gear in under two weeks.

The teams experienced some struggles but managed to work together to secure the victory. The match featured heavy blood and the use of various weapons.

Weapons brought into the bout included a light tube, a guitar, a TBS title wrapped in barbed wire, pliers, beer bottles and the top of a trash can.
