AEW Women Deliver Brutal Blood & Guts Opener

AEW Dynamite on November 4 opened with a women's Blood & Guts match pitting Wrathlander, Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata and the Brawling Birds against Persephone, Divine Dominion and Triangle of Madness. The heel team won the coin flip to gain the one-person advantage between periods.

Kris Statlander started the bout by bringing a garbage can of weapons into the cage to face Megan Bayne, who wielded steel chairs during the initial three-minute period. Bayne became the first to bleed on the ring mat before Persephone entered using Britt Baker's briefcase and pliers to target Statlander's mouth.

Queen Aminata followed with her TBS title wrapped in barbed wire as a weapon while Skye Blue's music then played, prompting Statlander to escape the cage and charge at her on the entrance ramp. Blue dodged the attack and smashed a fluorescent light tube over Statlander's head, after which Willow Nightingale arrived carrying a backpack filled with toy bricks and glass.

A heavily bleeding Bayne returned to help Kross throw Windsor into the cage before Harley Cameron joined and rallied her side with a diving splash on Divine Dominion. Cameron tricked Kross with a small ukulele and then struck her over the head with a guitar as Julia Hart entered last for the heels carrying a sharp weapon that she used to spike opponents' heads. Jamie Hayter became the 12th and final entrant, at which point the official match beyond period started.
