AEW Full Gear Trios Title Match Becomes Texas Death

The AEW World Trios Championship match between Hangman Adam Page, Brody King and Bandido against Swerve Strickland and The New Level has been changed to a Texas Death match for Full Gear. Swerve Strickland had pushed for the Texas Death stipulation for weeks while Page and The New Level opposed it.

Last week Strickland kidnapped Bandido, bloodied him and took his mask, which made the rivalry personal. On Wednesday night's episode of Dynamite, Bandido attacked Strickland backstage, sparking a wild brawl on the stage that involved Austin Creed, Brody King and Page.

During the brawl Austin Creed speared Bandido before King and Page joined the fight. After the brawl Bandido told Page that the match was no longer just about him and declared he wanted Texas Death. Page finally agreed to the stipulation after weeks of resistance while King gave a simple nod of approval.

Tony Khan and the commentary team confirmed the Texas Death match for the titles moments later. The updated Full Gear card also includes an Anarchy in the Arena bout pitting The Cut against the Death Riders and The Conglomeration.
