Statlander and Cameron Submit Hart for Blood & Guts Win

Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron secured the win for their side in the opening Blood & Guts match on this week's AEW Dynamite. Megan Bayne and Kris Statlander began the match, with Bayne bringing a chair and Statlander introducing a trash can. Statlander gained an early edge using multiple chairs until Persephone entered with a briefcase, allowing the opposing side to take control before the first commercial break.

Queen Aminata entered next to even the numbers and immediately struck Persephone and Bayne with a trash can lid. Skye Blue followed, meeting Statlander on the ramp with light tubes, but Aminata kept her from entering the cage by closing the door.

Statlander returned to the ring with a kendo stick, used it to clear out Bayne and Persephone, and enabled Blue to finally enter. With blood flowing from her face, Blue greeted Willow Nightingale, who brought a backpack containing broken glass and LEGOS that Blue was later spinebustered onto.

Thekla entered and removed her belt, leading Queen Aminata to remove hers as well. Alex Windsor then arrived, hitting Blue with a barbed wire board on the ramp before striking her in the head with a chair. Lena Kross came in after the next commercial break, ignored Aminata's kendo stick shots and took out nearly the entire opposing team. Harley Cameron followed, delivering a Canadian Destroyer to Megan Bayne, then used a regular sized guitar on Kross after her mini guitar was stomped.

Julia Hart entered last for her team, followed by a picture-in-picture break. Jamie Hayter then arrived as the final participant for the opposing side, and the Brawling Birds trapped Thekla in a trash can while striking her with various objects as Team Willow took over the match.
