Wren Sinclair Praises Kendal Grey As Genuine Friend

Kendal Grey signed with WWE through the NIL program in 2023 and climbed to the top of the NXT women's division. Since last year Grey has teamed with Wren Sinclair, who supported her by challenging Jordan for the championship in Grey's place.

In a recent interview on No-Contest Wrestling, Sinclair recalled that when she arrived Grey was already at the Performance Center and welcomed her in. Sinclair said her prior experience on the independents involved girls who were not nice in a locker room full of guys.

She described Grey as "a real genuine person" and noted that fans can see their on-screen support is authentic rather than forced. Sinclair explained that the pair spend time together outside of wrestling, something new for her because wrestlers often only pretend to get along for storylines while secretly disliking each other.

She added that she and Grey frequently have to be pulled back to focus during segments because of their real friendship. Sinclair declared that Grey is "probably the best women's wrestler in the industry right now, in the ring" and called it insane how quickly she improved.

After being absent from television, Grey returned to NXT first through vignettes and then in person, resuming her partnership with Sinclair and appearing alongside her again.
