Matt Hardy Calls Saudi Arabia Situation Complicated

“It's a really wild scenario, no doubt about it, because as you said, there's definitely some active war and there's some...they had their airport hit awhile back, which is pretty scary. So I don't know man...It's certainly complicated, no doubt about it.— Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy described the situation surrounding WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia as complicated during the latest episode of "The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy." Hardy acknowledged the presence of active war in the country and noted that its airport had been hit previously, calling the incident scary.
The TNA star and former WWE Tag Team Champion admitted uncertainty about how to address the ongoing criticism of the event amid bombings and threats. When asked by co-host Jon Alba if he would be willing to perform at the show, Hardy paused before responding that he would not be crazy about going.
Hardy explained that his reluctance to outright refuse stemmed from being a company guy who tries to be a model employee for his employer. He expressed relief that he is not currently in the position of having to make that decision.
