Lil Yachty Eyes Full-Time WWE Career

Lil Yachty has expressed his desire to pursue a full-time career with WWE and potentially never release another album. The two-time Grammy-nominated artist and producer discussed his involvement in WWE during an interview with Complex. Yachty, who serves as the manager and ally to United States Champion Trick Williams, noted that WWE requires a more militant approach compared to his music career.

He explained that in WWE there is limited time in each segment to deliver a message and captivate the audience in order to remain on television the following Friday. Yachty stated he loves the discipline involved and is actively trying to transition to a full-time role with the company.

The rapper indicated that if he climbs the ranks and receives the desired compensation in WWE, he would leave music behind entirely. He emphasized his commitment by saying he would perform high-risk moves such as backflips and being thrown through tables until his body could no longer continue.

He made his in-ring debut on September 6 at Sunday Night’s Main Event, where he lasted five minutes against Baron Corbin. By surviving the challenge against Corbin, Yachty secured a United States Championship match for Williams later that same night.
