Lil Yachty Details Scary Vision Loss Scare

Lil Yachty, who serves as a songwriter, rapper, producer and current WWE talent, opened up about a recent health scare during an interview with Complex ahead of his concert performance. Yachty described being sick for the previous two weeks, during which he did not leave his home and remained in lockdown.

He explained it was not a coughing illness but something far more serious that left him down bad and fearing for his life. "I went blind in my left eye. Yeah, 80 percent. It was bad. I could not see at all," Yachty said.

The experience scared him intensely as he thought he would remain blind forever, prompting deep gratitude for his eyesight that many take for granted. Yachty noted how aging can make such fundamental abilities seem minuscule despite having been blessed with them throughout life.

He emphasized the importance of vision by stating it is something to have your eyesight after the ordeal left him unable to see anyone while isolated in a dark room alone. Yachty confirmed he is now fine following the incident.

His most recent WWE television appearance occurred on the September 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where Baron Corbin attacked him amid a feud involving Yachty and Trick Williams.
