Shawn Michaels to Replace Bruce Prichard on WWE Creative

Bruce Prichard is set to retire from his full-time position with WWE in 2026. He currently serves as Executive Director of Creative Writing and Talent. His retirement is planned to take place after WrestleMania 43.
Following retirement, Prichard will continue his connection with WWE in a consulting role. He will no longer perform his current duties or reside in Stamford. Plans for the exact timing remain subject to possible change.
Multiple wrestling journalists have confirmed the report about his upcoming retirement. Prichard first joined WWE in 1987 as an announcer. He later portrayed the on-screen character Brother Love.
The Brother Love character ended in 1991, after which Prichard worked backstage alongside Vince McMahon. He stayed in that capacity until his release from the company in 2008. During his time away from WWE he worked for TNA and MLW and hosted his own podcast.
Prichard returned to WWE in 2019 and has remained with the organization since then.
