Kit Wilson Details Lessons Learned From The Miz
“The Miz has taught me so many things. He's taught me them by telling me these lessons, by teaching these lessons, but he also leads by example.— Kit Wilson

Kit Wilson has become a solo performer in WWE this year following a serious injury to his Pretty Deadly tag team partner Elton Prince. He was soon teamed with The Miz, who Wilson credits with advancing his development in the company.

Wilson said on the Battleground Podcast that The Miz has taught him numerous lessons both by directly explaining them and by leading through example. One of the key lessons Wilson learned is to be prepared for anything at any moment.

The duo has frequently needed to adjust to sudden changes in their booking since working together. Wilson recalled that The Miz decided to create a moment at WrestleMania after they were not booked for the premium live event by interrupting John Cena.

Wilson said The Miz told him "Let's do it. Let's make a moment." Although Wilson was not scheduled for WrestleMania and had no plans, he noted that The Miz makes things happen. Wilson and The Miz confronted John Cena and Danhausen at WrestleMania 42.

Cena and Danhausen defeated the pair, with Wilson and The Miz both hit by low blows from Danhausen and his Mini-Hausens. Wilson has appeared less frequently on WWE's main television programming in recent months but continues to compete at live events and on Main Event.
