Paul Heyman Shares Views On Vince McMahon's Character
“No, I don't think Vince ever considered himself a good man. I don't think he cared about it. I don't think that was part of his self-judgement. I don't think he felt he was placed on this planet to be a good man.— Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman worked for years under Vince McMahon and offered his perspective on the former WWE CEO's self-image during an interview on In Depth With Graham Bensinger. Heyman stated that McMahon does not appear to have viewed himself as a good man or to have cared about others' opinions of his moral character.

He added that being a good man was not part of McMahon's self-judgment and that McMahon did not believe he was placed on the planet to be a good man. Heyman described the hardest aspect of working for McMahon as attempting to match his ethics and vision, which he called impossible because McMahon worked nonstop.

The most difficult incident Heyman remembered occurred during the 2006 relaunch of ECW, when McMahon first told him he would be in charge and then immediately began removing his authority over the product. Heyman said the constant interference made the situation terrible for the product, the company, and especially the fans. The ECW reboot ended permanently on February 16, 2010.
