Kevin Owens Asked To Leave WWE PC For NXT Tapings
Kevin Owens visited the WWE Performance Center on November 4 to receive treatment on his shoulders. While there, he was approached by Shawn Michaels, who is in charge of NXT. Michaels asked Owens to leave the facility because CM Punk was scheduled to appear for his NXT Championship match against Grayson Waller that evening.
Owens recorded the exchange on his phone and shared the footage on social media. In the video, Michaels stated that he believed Owens chose that specific day for treatment knowing Punk would be present and expressed concern that the two could not co-exist.
Michaels told Owens he was welcome at the Performance Center any other day and suggested he return on Thursday. Owens was also seen speaking with head of physical therapy Tara Halaby during the incident. The confrontation is part of the ongoing storyline between Owens and Punk ahead of their No Holds Barred match on Friday's WWE SmackDown.
That match was taped on Monday following WWE Raw due to the company's travel to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.
