Grayson Waller Says He's Outworking NXT Roster

Grayson Waller has expressed strong self-confidence since returning to NXT several months ago. He credits his outspoken nature for helping him reach his position as NXT Champion. Waller believes he has earned the title more than anyone else on the roster.

In an interview following a confrontation with Tony D'Angelo, Waller stated that he is outworking the entire NXT roster. He added that he is also planning for everyone else in the group. Waller questioned why others, including D'Angelo, had not stepped up sooner.

Waller compared the situation to a hypothetical scenario from earlier in a wrestler's career on the Raw roster. He suggested that such behavior would not have been tolerated for long in that environment. Waller pointed out that it took D'Angelo four months to physically confront him.

He continued by noting that he had gone to D'Angelo's house without immediate serious repercussions. Waller used these examples to reinforce his view that the current NXT roster is soft. He expressed surprise at how much he has been able to get away with.

Waller went on to retain his NXT Championship against D'Angelo at Halloween Havoc. He is now scheduled to defend the title against CM Punk on a special Wednesday edition of NXT.
