Grayson Waller Vows to Make WWE Regret Main Roster Booking

Grayson Waller spoke on the Insight Podcast with Chris Van Vliet about the contrast between his first stint in NXT and his current return as champion. He explained that during his initial run he was learning from established stars such as Ciampa, Gargano and Pete Dunne while figuring out the WWE style and developing his own character.

Waller stated that he now runs NXT and views himself as the veteran presence the brand needs. The NXT Champion said he is there to demonstrate the proper work ethic and talent required to hold the title and represent the brand rather than offering direct advice to younger talent.

He recalled that many of the current locker room members previously lacked a clear role model to look up to and described a recent shot putter who had become the locker room leader as an undesirable dynamic. Waller told the podcast that his return allows him to be fully himself and show the world what he can do.

He expressed his intention to make the main roster regret not utilizing him better, saying they had something valuable in their hands and did nothing with it.
