Grayson Waller Calls Home Invasion Mind Games

The rivalry between Tony D’Angelo and Grayson Waller escalated on the October 27 episode of NXT when Waller appeared at D’Angelo’s home. In an interview with Busted Open After Dark, Waller explained that his visit was a response to D’Angelo’s claim that he could not get inside his head.

Waller stated that he knew he would take such an action and that he successfully entered D’Angelo’s head that night. He reflected on his past by recalling the time he went to Johnny Gargano’s house and attacked him in front of his wife and child, noting that version of himself wanted success and that the current Grayson wants it as well.

Waller described his tactics as mind games, saying he did nothing physical at the house but aimed to unsettle D’Angelo after being offended by the previous week’s comments. He pointed out that D’Angelo should be focused on his NXT Championship match at Halloween Havoc but is instead concerned about his family and restaurant, while Waller is solely concerned with winning.

Waller added that this is a game few are willing to play and that he is prepared to go to any level, contrasting himself with Myles Borne who believed he went too far. Grayson Waller will defend the NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo at NXT Halloween Havoc.
