WWE NXT Ratings Drop 21 Percent vs World Series

This past Tuesday's WWE NXT on The CW averaged 520,000 viewers while facing game four of the World Series, a potential series clincher for the Milwaukee Brewers that aired on Fox. The figure marked a 20.6 percent decline from the previous week and represented the show's lowest audience since May 19.
NXT drew a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was down 10 percent from last week and tied its lowest mark since August 4. In that World Series game, the Tampa Bay Rays won in the 12th inning to keep the series alive before the Brewers closed it out in game five on Wednesday against AEW Dynamite.
Compared to the same week last year when NXT also went head-to-head with the World Series, this week's overall viewership fell 1.3 percent. The 18-49 rating, however, rose 28.6 percent year-over-year. This marked the third consecutive week and fourth of the last five where NXT posted a year-over-year gain in the 18-49 demographic. The show has now declined versus its 10-week averages, dropping 22.4 percent in total viewers and 25 percent in the 18-49 rating.
