Steven Borden Discusses Concussion From AEW All Out

Steven Borden is excited to return to action after suffering a concussion at AEW All Out 2026. Borden described the injury as unusual because he felt physically fine while recovering but had to wait for medical clearance before competing again. He stated that it feels great to be back and noted the difference from typical injuries where one can feel the damage, such as a torn knee, which prevents return until healed.

"It feels great to be back," he said. "So I got concussed, I was knocked out for a little bit." Darby Allin, Borden's tag team partner, was present for the interview and corrected him by saying Borden was snoring for six minutes straight. Allin added that it was not a little bit but a lot of bit.

The injury occurred while Allin and Borden faced Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher at All Out. Borden made his return from the injury on the October 21 episode of AEW Dynamite. He is scheduled to compete this Wednesday night in Blood & Guts as part of the team with Allin, The Young Bucks, Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay against Knight, Fletcher, Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Wardlow and Kazuchika Okada.
