Darby Allin Recalls Steven Borden Driving Him Home After Flaming Table Bump

“Actually last year when I got thrown through the flaming table, he drove me home. It was about a four hour car ride and I had my shirt off because I didn’t want — my whole skin on my back was pretty much gone. I didn’t want it to stick to the seat. So, I was [leaning forward] the whole time while he was driving me. He saw the pain I was in last year, so I don’t know if that gets him excited for tomorrow.— Darby Allin
In November 2025, Darby Allin joined forces with The Conglomeration against the Death Riders during a Blood & Guts match. PAC threw Allin through a pair of flaming tables positioned near the entrance tunnel. Allin later described the aftermath in an interview with Going Ringside. He revealed that Steven Borden drove him home following the bout.
The car ride lasted about four hours. Allin kept his shirt off because the skin on his back was largely gone and he did not want it to stick to the seat. He spent the entire drive leaning forward while Borden operated the vehicle. Borden witnessed the level of pain Allin endured that night.
Allin expressed uncertainty about whether seeing that suffering would motivate Borden ahead of their upcoming match. The two are scheduled to team together in this year's Blood & Guts contest.
