Mercedes Moné Eyes NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 21 Appearance

The card for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 21 at the Tokyo Dome in January 2027 is beginning to form after the 2026 Power Struggle event set up several matches. Multiple AEW stars are already scheduled for prominent bouts on the stacked show.

AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné is not yet booked for the event. Moné replied to the fan, stating "Me too." Moné last appeared at the Tokyo Dome during the January 2025 co-promotional Wrestle Dynasty event. She defeated Mina Shirakawa in a winner-takes-all match to claim the NJPW Strong Women’s title along with the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.

Moné most recently competed at AEW WrestleDream 2026 last month where she defeated Thekla to retain the AEW Women’s World Title.
