Stardom Continues Weekday Big Event Tests

Stardom President Taro Okada plans to keep experimenting with staging major shows on weekdays to reach fans unavailable on weekends. The October 29 event at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo drew an announced attendance of 1,994, headlined by Suzu Suzuki retaining the World of Stardom Championship against Starlight Kid, narrowly missing the 2,000-fan target. Okada noted positive feedback from weekday attendees and stressed that filling those shows is necessary to grow the promotion and meet varied customer needs.
