Callum Newman Claims Leadership Of United Empire
“I said to them, to their faces, somebody has to do something or this group is going to go downhill.— Callum Newman
After Will Ospreay departed NJPW for AEW in February 2024, Callum Newman says he stepped up to lead United Empire when no one else would, sacrificing heavily and representing the group in every match. Newman notes that TJP had previously filled the role after Ospreay, but following further departures and injuries to HENARE and Akira, he took charge and reshaped the stable while adding Jake Lee and Andrade El Idolo. Ospreay later created a United States version of the group after winning the AEW World Championship.
