Rafael Morffi Named MLW Senior Director of Live Events

Rafael Morffi has been named Senior Director of Live Events for Major League Wrestling. The appointment was reported on Sunday, with Morffi taking over for Mike Kitlas. PWInsider was first to report Kitlas' departure from the role. Morffi began working with MLW one month ago.

He previously served as AEW's Vice President of Live Events and Touring, joining that promotion in 2019 and leaving at the end of 2023. The hiring follows several recent changes for MLW, including the announcement in October that its Fusion program would begin airing on Amazon Prime Video.

MLW returns to traditional pay-per-view this month with the Saturday Night SuperFight event scheduled for November 7. Paul Walter Hauser announced on Sunday that he is departing MLW, citing creative differences.
