Persephone And Queen Aminata Added To AEW Blood & Guts
Queen Aminata defeated Persephone in the main event of this week's AEW Dynamite at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. Aminata captured the AEW TBS Championship for the first time in her career.
Aminata survived a belt shot to the head from Britt Baker at ringside. She rallied back and scored the victory with her Off With Her Head kick finisher.
Members of the AEW roster came to the ring to celebrate with Aminata after the match. The win marked her sixth attempt at the TBS title since 2024.
Persephone's reign as TBS Champion ended after 60 days. Her title run began at this year's All In pay-per-view where she defeated Maya World at the pre-show.
In the co-main event, Darby Allin retained the TNT Championship against Josh Alexander. Allin secured the win with a roll-up following a physical match that included a brawl involving the Callis Family and Steven Borden at ringside.
Allin's victory begins a busy week as he is set to compete in Mexico City this Friday against Hechicero in a CMLL match.
