Jeff Jarrett Praises AEW's Clockwork Carnage Match

“I love innovative. I love trying new things. I love having the audience get engaged at a different level.— Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett expressed his approval for All Elite Wrestling's willingness to try fresh concepts during the WrestleDream pay-per-view event. The main event at WrestleDream featured the first-ever Clockwork Carnage match where Will Ospreay successfully defended his AEW World Championship. Jarrett offered strong praise for the overall show but highlighted the innovative match as especially impressive and one he believed would succeed.
He recalled analyzing the participants in the Clockwork Carnage bout and concluding that despite initial uncertainty from some viewers it would ultimately steal the show. Jarrett described the match as fantastic and noted that it surpassed all expectations with its elimination format and progression.
A longtime advocate for creative approaches in professional wrestling Jarrett compared the Clockwork Carnage to the King of the Mountain match he helped develop for TNA Wrestling which required qualification before climbing. He emphasized his enthusiasm for matches that engage audiences on new levels and stated he was very positive about the Clockwork Carnage beforehand believing it could grow into a regular feature for the promotion.
