The lineup for AEW's Clockwork Carnage match at WrestleDream 2026 changed due to an injury to Jay White. The first-of-its-kind match will see Will Ospreay defend the AEW World Championship against seven challengers this Saturday. Adam Copeland is one of the participants in the bout.
Jay White was originally planned for the spot now occupied by Adam Copeland. Injuries to both Jay White and Christian Cage prompted the adjustment to Copeland's involvement. Copeland revealed on Dynamite this week that 2027 will be his final year as a professional wrestler.
Copeland aims to win the AEW World Championship before his retirement. Jay White is expected to miss one to two months of action because of his undisclosed injury. Christian Cage is recovering from three broken ribs and a collapsed lung, with no return date announced.
WrestleDream will take place at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida this Saturday.
