Eva Marie stated that other wrestling promotions have shown interest in her but she chose not to pursue any deals with them. The 42-year-old former WWE wrestler said she would only consider joining another company if it came with a major financial offer featuring a lot of zeros.
Marie added that she would also require some type of creative control as part of any potential agreement. She explained that having input helps avoid situations where writers fail to create strong storylines and payoffs for a character. Marie noted that she learned the importance of creative input during her time in the business and never took discussions with other companies further.
The former WWE performer emphasized that WWE still feels like home to her and she would not want any new venture to simply recreate her previous persona. Marie was part of WWE from 2013 to 2017 before leaving to pursue interests outside the company and returned for a one-year run after signing a deal in 2020.
