WWE Books Double Raw and SmackDown Taping in Washington DC

WWE will hold a double taping of Raw and SmackDown at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on Monday, December 21.

The event is expected to include a live episode of Raw followed by a taping of SmackDown that will air on Christmas Night.

WWE schedules double tapings only a few times each year, often to accommodate travel or scheduling needs.

This particular double taping allows talent and staff to avoid working on Christmas Night.

The company last visited Washington, D.C. in December of the previous year for a Saturday Night’s Main Event that featured John Cena’s retirement match.

Tickets for the December 21 event will go on sale this Friday.
