Athena to defend ROH Women's title vs. Hyan at Final Battle
ROH Women’s World Champion Athena announced on the November 5 episode of ROH TV that she will defend her title against Hyan at Final Battle. Athena stated that she wants to bring Hyan into her Minions in Training group alongside Diamante and Billie Starkz to make everyone better.
The two wrestlers have previously met twice in singles Proving Ground matches for Athena’s title in 2023 and 2026, both of which Hyan lost. Hyan has wrestled sparingly as a singles competitor in ROH over the last few months but has scored consecutive singles victories over Lacey Lane and Billie Starkz. This will mark Hyan’s first opportunity at the ROH Women’s Championship.
