Tony Khan Pays Tribute to PAC at ROH Taping
“As somebody who epitomized the very best of wrestling and the very best of humanity, one of the best people I've ever known.— Tony Khan
At a Ring of Honor taping in Jacksonville, AEW President Tony Khan paid tribute to the late Ben Satterley, known as PAC. Khan described him as someone who represented the best of wrestling and humanity, calling him one of the finest people he had ever known.
Khan highlighted PAC's accomplishments as a wrestler who performed in AEW, as Neville in WWE, and around the world. He emphasized that PAC was an outstanding performer, a great colleague, and a wonderful person to spend time with.
Before the wrestling began, Khan requested a moment of silence followed by a ten-bell salute in PAC's honor. He noted that PAC had been integral to AEW from its early planning stages and had become a significant part of many people's lives in and out of wrestling.
Khan recalled first meeting PAC prior to the company's public launch in January 2019 in the same Jacksonville parking lot. He stated that PAC was always envisioned as a major figure in AEW and had a profound impact on wrestlers and others in the industry.
The tribute included recognition of PAC's broad potential for success in any field and his achievement as one of the greatest wrestlers. Khan shared the announcement with the live audience ahead of the day's Ring of Honor tapings.
