Tony Khan Meets Skydance Team Ahead Of Dynamite

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan met with Skydance executives in Los Angeles on Friday. The meetings took place weeks after the Skydance merger with Warner Bros. Discovery was completed earlier this month. David Ellison now serves as chairman and CEO of the combined company known as Skydance.
Khan has previously spoken positively about Ellison as a supporter of AEW who he believes will make the company stronger after the merger. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Khan emerged from the meetings extremely happy. Meltzer stated that Khan was much happier than he has been about the relationship and came out the happiest he has been since day one.
Meltzer added that two wrestling moves already made by Skydance were not positive. Meltzer clarified that Women of Wrestling will receive another season but it will not be syndicated. Meltzer noted that nothing sounded like it was cut back for AEW following Khan's meetings.
