Darby Allin Set for CMLL Debut
CMLL will present a show on October 30 at Arena México featuring a non-title match between CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Hechicero and AEW's Darby Allin. The Arena México event is completely sold out, yet the matchup will be available for live viewing on the streaming platform at the level described as Leyenda.
Both Hechicero and Darby Allin hold contracts with All Elite Wrestling, while Hechicero maintains an additional dual agreement with CMLL. Hechicero belongs to the Don Callis Family stable and currently reigns as the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion. Darby Allin enters the contest as the reigning AEW TNT Champion.
Allin's most recent appearance inside Arena México occurred during AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Mexico, where he joined forces with Chris Jericho and Místico. In that earlier bout, the trio defeated the Don Callis Family team consisting of Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada, and Kevin Knight.
