TNA Heads to Calgary for First Time

TNA is heading to Calgary for the first time. The promotion will hold shows on November 18 and 19 2026 at the WinSport Event Centre. Both nights will be taped for Thursday Night iMPACT.

Fans from Alberta, Saskatchewan and the northern United States are planning to attend the events. The announcement includes a post-show Meet and Greet on both nights. Lance Storm, a Calgary resident and TNA producer, is scheduled for a media tour on November 5 and 6.

Calgary carries a long wrestling history through Stampede Wrestling. That promotion operated for nearly 50 years as a mainstay in western Canada. Its training facility known as the Dungeon was located in the basement of the Hart family home.

Notable events in the city include the Hart Foundation winning a 10-man tag match at Canadian Stampede on July 6 1997. Edge defeated Kurt Angle in a steel cage match on SmackDown on May 30 2002. TNA was founded in 2002 making its Calgary debut long overdue.

Adult fans who smoke or vape must follow Alberta's Tobacco Smoking and Vaping Reduction Act along with the City of Calgary's bylaws. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in public places including the arena concourse and washrooms. Users must remain at least five meters from entrances doorways windows and air intakes.
