The Miz ends 40-match singles losing streak

The Miz ended his 40-match singles losing streak last week on WWE Main Event. He teamed with Kit Wilson to defeat Fraxiom in a tag team match on the show that aired on Rumble. According to data from CageMatch, the victory marked The Miz's first win of any kind since an August 2025 episode of SmackDown where he and Melo Don’t Miz beat the Motor City Machine Guns.
The A-Lister had not won a singles match since facing JD McDonagh on a February 2024 episode of Raw, a span of 100 matches. During an interview this week on Z100 New York, The Miz discussed the losing streak that lasted over one full year.
He said, "I think it’s the longest losing streak that anyone in WWE history has ever been a part of." The Miz added that he was unaware of the streak's length until someone online pointed it out, noting he focuses only on his most recent match each week.
The former WWE champion pointed out that he did not score the pin in the tag team victory, with his partner securing the win instead. He stated that he still needs a solo win to break his 2-plus year singles losing streak.
The Miz concluded that no one wants a streak of losing and that he likes to win, while also emphasizing the importance of entertaining fans even in defeat.
