‘The Demon’ Finn Balor emerges on WWE SmackDown

On the Oct. 30 episode of WWE SmackDown, Danhausen appeared as the Halloween host and prepared to unveil the most evil experiment he had been teasing for months. Gunther ambushed Danhausen from behind before the reveal could happen and put him through a table.

A group of Minihausens emerged from a cloning machine to attack Gunther, but he overpowered them by hurling pumpkins at them and powerbombing one through the other and a table. Gunther then applied a rear choke on Danhausen with another table set up, but Danhausen cursed him, causing the lights to go out as a heartbeat played throughout the arena.

The heartbeat quickened before The Demon Finn Balor rose from under a sheet on a gurney, marking the first time he had worn the war paint since WrestleMania 42. Balor confronted a fearful Gunther, no-sold being whipped with a belt, and dropkicked him through the prepared table.

Balor then placed Gunther on the announcer's desk outside the ring, climbed a ladder, and delivered a Coup de Grace that sent Gunther through the desk. Balor returned to the ring to pose with an injured Danhausen, closing the segment.
