Channing Lorenzo sustained an injury during a tag team match at a WWE NXT house show on October 17th. He hit his face on the post following an out-of-the-ring spot and suffered a hard back bump on the floor. Lorenzo had to be stretchered out of the venue after the incident.

The NXT star later posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed on Instagram Story, showing his middle finger raised. In the accompanying caption, he quoted the doctor as being concerned about his "attitude" and replied that it was a "preexisting condition."

Lorenzo added in the post that "The show goes on." A subsequent slide on his Instagram Story featured another photo of him captioned "Right back to the grind." Lorenzo performs as part of the BirthRight faction alongside Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey, Uriah Connors, and Arianna Grace.
