Sami Zayn Names Bloodline Story As Career Peak Before Title Win

“Probably Bloodline stuff [was the career peak]. I think that's probably what I'd be best remembered for if my career ended before I won the world title or whatever; it might still be what I'm most remembered for 20 years from now if people remember anything about me 20 years from now.— Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn named his involvement in The Bloodline saga as the career peak before he won a world title. Zayn captured the Undisputed WWE Championship by defeating Cody Rhodes at WWE Night of Champions 2026. The win marked his first world title reign in WWE.
During an interview on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Zayn said the Bloodline story was what he would be best remembered for if his career had ended before winning the world title. Zayn stated, "Probably Bloodline stuff [was the career peak]."
Zayn expressed that he was extremely proud of the Bloodline arc while noting he has many things throughout his career he is proud of. His association with The Bloodline began in spring 2022 when he aligned with the Samoan stable seeking on-screen approval.
Despite initial hesitations from The Bloodline members, Zayn gradually won them and the WWE Universe over and was hailed the Honorary Uce. His popularity led WWE officials to extend his Bloodline run. Zayn said his initial intent was to be on the periphery but it evolved, which was part of why he loved it so much.
He described the week-to-week adaptation as beautiful and mentioned having an overarching blueprint that came to fruition, starting with his involvement and ending in a championship match with Roman Reigns.
