A Weapons Wild match between Tavion Heights and Myles Borne has been added to this Saturday's NXT Halloween Havoc. The stipulation was determined during an in-ring segment on the October 27 edition of NXT on The CW when the two former friends traded insults.

Security guards had to separate Heights and Borne to stop them from coming to blows after the heated exchange. Danhausen, serving as host of Halloween Havoc, interrupted with his laugh and ordered nearby druids to spin the Halloween Havoc wheel.

The wheel landed on Weapons Wild, a no-rules contest that allows an array of weapons with victory only by pinfall or submission in the ring. Borne attacked Heights after that match, claiming he acted because he believed Heights would strike first, and later used a fake apology to assault him again.
