Rusev Ready for WWE TV Return

Rusev Ready for WWE TV Return

Rusev is fully recovered and awaiting his return to WWE television. He last competed on the July 27 episode of Raw in a match against Je’Von Evans where he was kicked in the head causing his hands to go numb.

Rusev finished that match but then became sick afterward though he does not believe the illness was related to the injury. The wrestler told TMZ’s Inside the Ring that he has been ready to compete for about two months and is simply waiting for WWE to call him back to TV.

Rusev confirmed he is feeling good after being out for two or three months and has resumed training at his Kech Academy wrestling school in Nashville while also visiting the WWE Performance Center. He recently worked a couple of house shows in Hawaii this month where he defeated Joe Hendry on the first night and teamed with Ethan Page against Chad Gable and Rey Mysterio on the second night.

Earlier this week Rusev and his wife CJ Perry who is under a WWE Legends contract announced they are expecting their first child a boy to be named Bear Petrov Barnyashev.
