Rusev reveals reasons for WWE TV absence

Rusev has not worked a match on WWE television since July. He did compete at a pair of house shows in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago. Rusev appeared on TMZ Sports’ Inside the Ring to discuss his absence. He confirmed that he suffered an injury during his July loss to Je’Von Evans on Raw.
He told the hosts he has been feeling good for about two months now. Rusev explained that after recovering he has simply been awaiting creative direction. He said "I’ve been ready. I’ve been good for about two months. I’m just waiting to go back to TV." Rusev’s wife CJ “Lana” Perry had previously dismissed rumors that he was upset about the loss to Evans.
