Ric Flair names Tony Khan greatest promoter ever

Ric Flair recently gave an hour-long interview where he discussed various topics in professional wrestling. During the conversation, he addressed how wrestling promotions select their world champions.

Flair described Tony Khan as the greatest promoter in wrestling history. He noted that Khan consults with a group of advisors before making decisions, similar to practices at other major companies.

Flair has been under contract with All Elite Wrestling since 2023. His initial involvement came through a sponsorship deal tied to Sting's retirement storyline and one of his licensed products.

Although that sponsorship agreement has ended, Flair remains contracted to the promotion. He appears infrequently but credited Khan with continuing the deal out of respect and admiration for his career.

Flair contrasted his experience with Khan to the current environment at WWE. He expressed concerns about frequent firings of longtime staff members who had been important to his past work there.
