Raquel Rodriguez Reflects on Potential Carlito Pairing

Raquel Rodriguez spoke on the Insight Podcast about the potential on-screen pairing with Carlito during his time with The Judgment Day. She noted that the storyline was allowed to develop organically and that the two had occasional discussions about it between themselves.
Rodriguez expressed that she was hopeful it would take shape and wished they had included a final date moment that would have been fun. She confirmed that Carlito almost got her to break character a couple of times while trying to butter her up.
Rodriguez added that she and Carlito brought up the idea here and there and thought it would have been kind of fun. The star discussed how both R-Truth and Carlito tried to make The Judgment Day members break character on-screen but only managed to get a smirk out of her.
She said she is pretty good at holding it together yet there was not a moment with either that she was not smiling, laughing or having a good time. Carlito joined The Judgment Day after his return at Backlash 2023 and his involvement with the group was relatively brief.
Rodriguez won the Intercontinental Championship in July for her first singles WWE title and positioned herself as a competitor beyond the tag team division.
