Myles Borne Calls 'What?' Chants a Waste of Energy
“You’re wasting your energy. You have to be a lot louder than that if you want to try and get my attention.— Myles Borne
Myles Borne has turned on Tavion Heights and revealed a new side of himself, resulting in fans booing him whenever he enters the WWE Performance Center. During a recent promo, Borne received "What?" chants from the NXT Universe even though he is deaf and cannot hear them.
In an interview with Korey Smith and Tor Smith on KRON4, Borne explained that he only learned about the chants after watching the footage with closed captions. Borne stated that the chants showed fans were wasting their energy by directing "What?" chants at someone who cannot hear them.
"You have to be a lot louder than that if you want to try and get my attention," Borne said. He added that he finds the situation funny because the fans know his situation yet continue yelling the chants, and he appreciates it after seeing the closed captions.
Borne and Heights remain engaged in their feud, but they are not currently scheduled to face each other at NXT Halloween Havoc. The event is set to take place on Saturday, October 31.
