Lil Yachty Details Strict WWE Demands
“It's so much different [to music]. It's so much more militant [that] you [have] got to be in WWE.— Lil Yachty
Lil Yachty is thoroughly enjoying his time working with WWE and has outlined how the demands differ sharply from his music career. The longtime WWE fan started appearing in storylines earlier this year alongside Trick Williams and has also wrestled.
Yachty explained that WWE's main goal is to keep viewers hooked so they return the following week. He described the environment as far more militant than music, stating it involves strict time constraints, cameras, editing, producers and the need to captivate the audience.
He emphasized that WWE requires a lot of discipline and declared he would give up his music career to become a full-time wrestler. Yachty most recently appeared on WWE SmackDown by interfering in the match between Trick Williams and Sami Zayn. The rapper has signed a deal with the promotion and has continued appearing on WWE television.
