Meltzer Repeats No WWE Talent Refused Saudi Arabia Trip

WWE Crown Jewel is scheduled for this Saturday in Riyadh with the full card now finalized. The event was moved indoors to The Venue by Saudi officials last week. Dave Meltzer reported last week that no WWE talent had refused to make the trip to Saudi Arabia and that the option to pull out was not even presented to performers.

Meltzer added that he had spoken with a top talent who indicated declining to go was something very much not being encouraged. Meltzer confirmed that Kevin Owens versus CM Punk was never booked for Crown Jewel. He obtained the original card which matched the current one except for one adjustment.

Meltzer stated he would not be surprised if Oba and Bronson Reed interfere in the tag title match to set up a future trios match. Meltzer pointed out that if Roman Reigns is going then nobody is saying no.
