Kelani Jordan Retains NXT Women's Title Over Paige

Kelani Jordan retained her NXT Women's Championship on the special Wednesday edition of WWE NXT by defeating surprise opponent Paige. Jordan took Paige down early in the match but Paige quickly returned to her feet and bashed the champion's face against the turnbuckle pads.

Paige downed Jordan on the outside with a cannonball while Jordan attempted to regain momentum by targeting Paige's neck. Jordan went for a 450 Splash from the top rope but Paige avoided it and caught her with a super kick followed by the Rampage though Jordan managed to kick out.

Jordan then locked in a crossface on Paige in the middle of the ring to target her neck again and followed with a DDT after Paige broke the hold. Paige got her knees up to block Jordan's split-legged moonsault and attempted the Rampage once more but Jordan rolled her up for the pinfall victory.
