Injured AEW Stars Borden and Ford Backstage at Dynamite

Two injured wrestlers were present backstage at the recent taping of AEW Dynamite and Collision. The special three-hour edition of the shows took place at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Steven Borden has been absent from television since last month. He suffered an injury after a hard landing on a Coast-to-Coast dive during a World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders match against Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher at All Out: Chicago.

The match was stopped following the incident, and Borden was taken to a hospital. He has been recovering well according to subsequent updates.

Penelope Ford has been sidelined since February 2026. She sustained an ankle injury while attempting a Moonsault on Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron during a Women’s World Tag Team Championship match alongside Megan Bayne on AEW Dynamite.
