Darren Young Returns to WWE NXT in New Role

Former WWE wrestler Darren Young, whose real name is Fred Rosser, has returned to the promotion nearly a decade after his release. Rosser announced his comeback to WWE NXT on social media, noting that it has been nine years since he was let go from the company.
He described arriving at the WWE Performance Center as an emotional experience that brings him to the verge of tears each time while expressing gratitude for the chance to contribute to the next generation of talent. The former tag team champion stated that he is now able to observe firsthand what WWE seeks in performers and intends to absorb as much as possible in that setting.
Rosser recalled training in the same environment years ago alongside strong coaches before advancing quickly to the main roster, and he is now positioned to pass along those lessons while helping develop future stars. He reminded everyone that he was part of the original NXT, referring to himself as Mr. No Days Off, and emphasized that nine years later he remains standing, inspiring others, and maintaining that same work ethic.
Rosser concluded by thanking WWE for the opportunity and declaring that it is time to go to work in his new coaching role at the Performance Center.
