Fred Rosser Coaching At WWE Performance Center

Fred Rosser, formerly known as Darren Young, has returned to WWE as a coach at the Performance Center. The former tag team champion posted on Instagram about the development on October 31, 2026. Rosser noted that it has been nine years since his release from WWE.

He described fighting back tears of joy every time he pulls up to the Performance Center. Rosser expressed gratitude for the chance to give back to the next generation of wrestlers. He stated that he is now able to see for himself what WWE is currently looking for and to absorb the environment like a sponge.

Rosser recalled standing in that same environment years ago, honing his craft alongside incredible coaches before quickly advancing to the main roster. He is now sharing those past experiences while helping to shape the future of the talent. Rosser reminded everyone that when discussing NXT, the original NXT should not be overlooked, referring to himself as Mr. No Days Off.

He added that nine years later he is still standing, inspiring others, and maintaining no days off. Rosser was part of the WWE roster from 2005 until 2017 and was a member of The Nexus stable with Wade Barrett and David Otunga among others.

His final WWE match occurred on an episode of Main Event in January 2017, resulting in a loss to Epico.
