Conrad Thompson Denies AEW Ties or Clickbait in Roman Reigns Critique

Conrad Thompson addressed comments made by Roman Reigns. Reigns had suggested that Thompson was using his name for views on his shows and had ties to AEW.

Thompson denied seeking to boost his ratings through the critiques. He also stated that he has no allegiance to AEW.

Thompson noted his friendships with several people employed by WWE. This includes his sister-in-law Charlotte Flair.

Thompson called Reigns the most overrated main eventer in WWE history during an episode of his podcast 83 Weeks. He continued to defend this stance on his other shows.

On the September 25 episode of Something to Wrestle, Thompson again labeled Reigns as overrated. He added that he had never seen anyone wearing a Roman Reigns T-shirt in public.

Thompson appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show where he described Reigns as an industry plant. He explained that WWE forced Reigns into the top position with long entrances, main events, and consistent victories.
