AEW commentator Tony Schiavone discussed the preparation involved in producing the company's shows. He stated on his podcast that AEW often assembles its programming with not that much prep.
Schiavone explained that he and other members of the commentary team sometimes learn about changes at the same time as the fans and the wrestlers in the back.
He attributed much of the company's early success to the ability to adapt and work on the fly when plans change unexpectedly.
According to Schiavone, many people involved with AEW can pull together a strong show despite limited preparation time. He expressed pride in this aspect of the company's approach.
